We are looking for a Lab Analyst to join our asbestos laboratory. The main responsibility of this position will be analysis of bulk samples for asbestos by polarized light microscopy (PLM) and/or air samples by phase contrast microscopy (PCM).
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- College diploma or university degree in biology, geology or related fields
- Previous microscopy experience (PLM/PCM) preferred but not necessary
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Working hours are generally 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
